Lake Nasser Cruise & Abu Simbel

A different kind of Nile cruise across the vast desert lake south of Aswan, visiting rescued Nubian temples that few travellers ever see.

The trip ends with the temples of Abu Simbel – seen from the water and during the evening sound and light show.

Tour Highlights

Abu Simbel Temples

Ramses II carved two temples into a mountain near the Sudanese border, guarded by four 20-metre statues of himself. In the 1960s the whole site was cut into blocks and lifted to safety – an epic worth the early start.

Nubian Village

Colourful houses, friendly families and a slower rhythm of life on the West Bank of Aswan. Enjoy tea in a Nubian home and learn about a culture older than the pharaohs.

Philae Temple

Reached by a short motorboat ride, the island temple of Isis was rescued from the rising Nile and rebuilt stone by stone – one of the most romantic settings in Egypt.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a visa for Egypt?

Most nationalities can buy a 30-day visa on arrival at Cairo airport for US$25, or apply online for an e-visa before travelling. Our representative meets you before passport control and helps with the process.

When is the best time to visit Egypt?

October to April is the most comfortable season for sightseeing, with sunny days around 20–28°C. Summer is hot in Luxor and Aswan but perfect for the Red Sea, and we adjust touring hours to early mornings.

Are your tours private?

Yes. Unless a tour is marked as a small-group departure, you travel only with your own party, with a private guide and air-conditioned vehicle.

Can I change an itinerary?

Every itinerary is a starting point. Add days, swap hotels, include a balloon ride or a beach stay – tell us what you would like and we will send an updated plan and price.

How do I book and pay?

Send a booking request from any tour page. We confirm availability and the final price by email or WhatsApp. Nothing is charged until you have approved the plan.
